Project Description
The project included new construction of the Henry A. Wallace Visitor & Education Center, as well as renovations and restoration at the FDR Presidential Library and Museum.
Renovation work at the original library building included substantial repair and restoration of the library’s roof system, as well as the creation of a new 3,000 SF special exhibit gallery.
Working together with the owner’s representatives and architects, the U.W. Marx team has improved visitor access to the library, constructed new storage space, expanded the area available for permanent exhibitions, and built new administrative offices.
