Clarkson University – Quad Additions & Renovations

95,000 SF of renovations and 30,000 SF of additions

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

This award-winning project added an additional floor to each of the four ‘Quad’ residence halls. In addition to the new fourth floor, the scope of work included asbestos abatement and major renovations to the four buildings’ MEP systems. This major project, involving more than 95,000 SF of renovations and 30,000 SF of additions, was accomplished working multiple shifts, seven days per week, in only 111 days.

The project added 84 beds to Clarkson’s housing inventory, and renovated areas for another 624 beds.

The project was recognized by the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) with a 2010 National Project Achievement Award in Modernization/Renovations.
