District-wide Project, new STEAM Wing at HS, Burnt Hills
This $34.2 million, multi-phased project involved renovations at the Middle School and the district’s three elementary schools. The High School saw new additions as well as renovations.
The 2013 Capital Project scope included construction of a new STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math) Wing at the high school building, relocation of the District offices, extensive sitework including new access road and new traffic patterns, and a new multi-sport turf field with 8-lane synthetic track.
U.W. Marx was recently selected as Construction Manager for the District’s $34.1 million 2018 Capital Project. The project includes necessary improvements to meet 21st-Century learning needs, O’Rourke Middle School safety & security and classroom improvements, a renovation of the High School auditorium, and critical infrastructure improvements District-wide, including a new Transportation Building.
