U.W. Marx is renovating approximately 89,000 s/f of laboratories, offices, and support space within the chemistry and physics buildings on the 5,300-acre Brookhaven campus on Long Island, NY. Both buildings will be renovated to meet the standards for a LEED silver certification for commercial interiors by the U.S. Green Building Council. |
New York Independent Systems Operator - Mission-Critical Upgrades

U.W. Marx is providing complete preconstruction and construction management services for a major project involving concurrent construction of additions and renovations to two mission-critical facilities. The project includes a 12,000 s/f data center addition, a 64,000 s/f state-of-the-art Control Center addition, and significant renovations to existing facility infrastructure. |
Gen*NYS*is Center for Excellence in Cancer Genomics
RESEARCH LABORATORY / NEW CONSTRUCTION

U.W. Marx provided construction management services for this new $45 million biotechnology cancer research center. The facility was constructed on a fast-track delivery method for the University at Albany Foundation on the university's East Campus in Rensselaer, NY. |
Laboratory Fit-Out, Confidential Client, Tech Valley, NY
RESEARCH LABORATORY / INTERIOR FIT-OUT

U.W. Marx was hired by a confidential Tech Valley client to construct the 105,000 s/f interior fit-out of the their flagship research laboratory. The $30 million project required an extremely aggressive schedule and a high level of coordination among all members of the project team in order to meet the needs of the client. |
Hudson Valley Community College - New Science Center
NEW CONSTRUCTION, RENOVATIONS AND ADDITIONS / PROGRAM MANAGEMENT

Hudson Valley Community College's 2009-2013 MFP includes the New Science Center, a 100,000 s/f state-of-the-art facility registered with the USGBC for minimum LEED(R) Silver certification. Construction began in the summer of 2011, with a scheduled completion date of August 2013. The $54 million project includes 60,000 s/f of renovations to adjacent buildings on the HVCC campus. |
