Saugerties Public Library - Carnegie Library Modernization

U.W. Marx served as CM as Agent for the Saugerties Public Library's award-winning rehabilitation of their 1915 Carnegie Library building.

The project included a new 8,000 SF three-story addition connected to the south façade, a two-story, 1,100 SF addition to the east façade of the building and a complete renovation/restoration of the existing historic building. U.W. Marx’s team worked closely with library staff and project architect Butler Rowland Mays to keep the project on schedule and within budget.

The New York Library Association recognized the project as Project of the Year, 2011.
